perfect central base for exploring parks and landmarks
We enjoyed our stay in a deluxe suite, which was a great fit for us as a couple, and loved how we could easily walk to Bears Mountain, just over a kilometer away, and take in the beautiful park views at Upper Housatonic Valley NHA, which was only about 700 meters down the road, making our weekend strolls so enjoyable. the hotel had all the comforts we needed for a relaxing getaway, but the pillows could have been a little softer to make the sleep experience even better.

I had a good experience during my stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made me feel welcome. I particularly enjoyed the cozy room with a fireplace. I also appreciated the locally sourced breakfast provided each morning. It felt nice to start the day with quality food. Being single, I found the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable, perfect for someone enjoying local art and culture.
The TV could have had more channels. The pillows were not to my liking, possibly a bit too hard for my preference.

Staying in the deluxe suite was a delightful experience. The room was immaculate and featured a cozy TV room with a fireplace, which made for a lovely retreat after a long day of exploring nearby attractions like the Holley Williams House Museum. The staff were welcoming and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay enjoyable. While the pillows could have been a bit firmer, everything else was top-notch, and we appreciated the charming old hotel atmosphere.

Solid selection for a transient visit in Salisbury with outstanding value for money. The pillows were a bit hard, but overall it was comfortable. Bring your own snacks since the dining options are limited.

The homemade cakes were pure magic! Pairing them with a cozy cup in the lounge was heavenly. Plus, the staff were absolute gems—friendly and keen to help. Our Deluxe Suite was a dream with a big four-poster bed and a fab fireplace, making it feel as snug as a bug!
Only hiccup? The TV could've had a few more channels, and those pillows were a tad too soft for my liking. But honestly, it didn't ruin the vibe at all!
